The most successful entertainer for all the times. He was not just a great artist, great writer, great performer but he was a visualist as well. Yes, he is none other than Michael Jackson. No other celebrity was respected as he was. The most famous pop star of all time. Despite of being exceptionally talented, he lived a controversial life and died a controversial death. Born in the year 1958 in Gary, Indiana. 7^th child of Katherine and Joe. Professionally we all how marvelous he was, nobody till date is as tremendous as he was but personally he was a sufferer. From a very small age he was physically abused by his violent father, as they belong to the poor family his father always wanted to get his children out of poverty. Katherine and Joe saw talent in Michael. They made a band the Jackson 5 – the five Jackson brothers band and the lead singer Michael. At the age of 11 year Michael and his brother got a contract. To make them this worth their father were hard on them but these memories of childhood used to petrify him. Moving forward in his career he faced the biggest problem racism. In 1980’s his first album “Off The Wall” was nominated for only two Grammy awards. He believed that time awards were racist too. The Jackson 5 were not allowed to sing in the white club. The struggle at that time was real. After this when he was at his peak of his career he got emotionally harassed because charges were pressed against him for child molestation, which were cleared later. After what all he have been through, he become more determined to prove himself.

There are a lot of things people never knew about him and misunderstood him. Some fun facts are Michael was very fond of animals, he had a special relation with his pet named bubbles which was a chimpanzee and she was treated as a part of his family. Michael wanted to be a Spiderman, he met Stan lee – creator of many marvel character and asked about this story and he wanted to be peter parker. In an interview, the interviewer asked him that why he bleached himself so much is he ashamed of his race? For the first time he disclosed his disease that he was diagnosed with “vitiligo” which is a condition that causes white spots on the skin and loss of pigmentation and he was not ashamed to be black. And those of you think he did a lot of surgeries the reason was his injuries. He started surgeries because of injury in 1979 during a show Michael broke his nose while performing a dance move which caused him breathing problems which eventually led to a lot of surgeries on nose and face. He one time burned his hair and the skin underneath during a show which took a lot of surgeries to be normal. It was very painful experience for him. Some people put allegations on Michael for betraying his family and leaving Jackson 5 but he had a strong reason to leave them because he wanted to be heard and wanted his creativity be heard and known. He didn’t wanted to betray his family but to outstand them. He left them but after his two albums he and his family got along well and everything was cleared out. Michael did a video “Thriller”, in which he became a werewolf first and then a zombie, it was a hit but his mother who was deeply religious person opposed him and said that demon are not to play. His mother criticized him for this video. So he added “Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult” at the starting of the video. Lastly, he had his own amusement park which was named Neverland after peter pan’s land. Peter pan was Michael’s favorite character. He always said that I am peter pan – the boy who never grew up. Both loved being around children and when he was with them, he becomes one because he never enjoyed his childhood due to terror of his father. He was a person who suffered a lot and he fought against that and became a legend. The Legend never dies. He is still with us through his music.
